Indian economy is the seventh-largest economy in the world. This fastest growing economy is in hands of skilled people. The Chief Economic Adviser (CEA) is the economic advisor to the Government of India.

CEA is responsible for advising GOI on matters related to finance, commerce, trade, economy by virtue of office or position. Ministry of Finance appoints CEA for monitoring and advising on policy making and statistical functions.
